Whats new with us?
Trans Pride History Month 2025
The T-Spot and Gender Enders Meet in conjunction with Lambda Archives of San Diego is thrilled to announce the official declaration of August as Trans Pride History Month!
While the San Diego City Council has recently recognized this important month, we have been planning and preparing since the beginning of the year. Inspired by the resilience and contributions of our trans community, we are excited to host a series of events celebrating our history, pride, and ongoing struggle for equality.
Join us in August 2025 for a month-long celebration featuring educational programs, community gatherings, and pride festivities.
Background:
In February, Nicole Verdes (she/they) from Lambda Archives of San Diego reached out to the City Council to propose this declaration, but the response was initially lacking. Undeterred, we at The T-Spot & Gender Enders Meet took the initiative to declare August as Trans Pride History Month ourselves, honoring the pivotal role our community plays in the fight for social justice and equality.
What to expect in 2025:
Educational Workshops: Dive into the rich history of the trans community, learning about key figures and milestones.
Community Gatherings: Connect with fellow advocates and allies, sharing stories and building stronger networks.
Pride Events: Celebrate our identities with pride parades, parties, and other joyful events.
Support Services: Access resources and support tailored for the Trans, Nonbinary and Intersex community.
Together, we honor our past, celebrate our present, and look forward to a future of equality and acceptance. Mark your calendars and join us in making Trans Pride History Month 2025 unforgettable!

August 1st, 2024

Grounded in C.A.R.E.
Community
T-Spot San Diego, San Diego Trans Pride and Gender Enders Meet organize on these pillars.
All that we do is for those we love, we know, we serve, who we protect. Our community is what keeps our pupose grounded. When they talk, we listen. When we hear what is needed, we respond to that call. We will always stand by the calls of tour trans, nonbinary and intersex community.
Abolition
We stand firmly in the belief that prisons, police, white supremacy shall and can be abolished in our lifetime. We must banish the idea that genocide, racism, colorism, transphobia are acceptable and deem them intolerable.
Redistribution
Sharing is caring. There is enough for all, but a few powerful percent that hoard the wealth and resources. We believe in the redistriubtion of wealth, resources, time, and privilege to advance our peoples liberation forward.
Eccentricity
We strive to do things, and create movement that is unlike traditional non-profits. As a small team, we’d like to serve as many trans, nonbinary and intersex people as possible. With little to no resources already, we’d loke to attempt the eccentric to get our needs met.
OUR PEOPLE
Community organizers, sex workers, public service stewards, wizards & witches, abolitionists, showgirls…
